A trivial introduction to this book can be found on page 133 of the June 1979 issue of the MR magazine.

Personal opinion: This book lists all the products PFM has handled for the quarter century and is certainly a useful source of information. I think that it was a difficult task to handle the materials because there was no IT equipment. However now, since books that had been organized to include other makers' products have been issued, this is only slightly useful in terms of data. Also, as of 1979, I think that similar books were in circulation and its value was not so high. It is the reason why I did not get it until now. It's just that there was a cheap product this time.

The impression I actually got is limited to one phrase that the greatness of the PFM product is not transmitted. First of all, the point which is not attractive as a book is fatal. The quality of paper and photo-printing is far below their products level. Two-color printing does not have elegance and is valueless. And even though PFM has emphasized names of manufacturers such as Tenshodo and United, and the name of high-class line such as Crown in the previous advertisement, such items only appear as symbols to distinguish individual products. So, there is no expression that appeals to sensibility and no narrative that gives meaning. In addition, there is no description about retail shops directly connected most-importantly to users. This can not show the reader the high value of the product. Invoices were just sorted as data. The editors didn't even know the products that have poured thousands of efforts, and even the collectors who spent a lot of money after searching for them. If you look at the smallness of the cover photo, you can assert that they did not know the G&D Line.

I bought this book from a German old book store for US$ 8.00 plus shipping costs of US$ 10.00 in 2019.
