　車体側面いっぱいに広告を描いた冷蔵貨車、すなわちビルボード・リーファーの写真集で、解説もある。その最盛期が1920年代から30年代までなので、ほとんどがモノクロ写真だが、戦後のカラー写真が9頁、30年代にHOゲージでRed Ballから売り出されたカラー印刷の側板が2頁に渡って紹介されている。
　1920年代に勃興したリーファー・リース会社は、鉄道運賃が積車と空車で同一な点を稼働率の高さで補い、また高稼働率のリーファー側面を広告媒体として販売することにより事業を成り立たせていた。ただし、鉄道事業者にとっては、生鮮食品を積んだリーファーは優先順位が高く、運用も面倒な存在で、自社保有リーファーの競争力を削ぐ存在として、ICC（Interstate Commerce Commission）に提訴した結果、1934年に側面を広告媒体とすることが事実上できなくなる規則が決定され、1937年以降の運行が禁止された。それはプライベート・リーファー事業モデルの転換でもあった。【書き掛け】

一連のクラシック・パワー・シリーズの中では大冊。著者の1人、Alvin F. Stauferはペンシルベニア鉄道に関する定本"Pennsy Power"を著した人物。 　図面はHOスケールで、1927年製5400-5491グループが両サイド、1928年製5492-5499グループが右サイド、1947年の近代化後が両サイド、流線形5338が左サイド、それに断面と足回り、テンダー。サイド・イラストはSスケールのカラーで、NY&LV RR時代の830号機と、流線形5338という多彩さ。 　目次は当方が調製。

車輪配置4-8-4を北米で最初に登場させたノーザン・パシフィック鉄道での同系列機の物語。ティムケン社によるローラーベアリング・デモンストレーター"A-1"や、系列会社のSP&S鉄道に供給された"E-1"を含む。Baldwin社から提案された流線形ラフスケッチもある。 　図面は"A"の2605号機。カラーイラストは同じく"A"の2607号機で、サイドビューとフロント、リアーの立面図を掲載。全てHOスケール。 　目次は当方で調製。

ミルウォーキー鉄道の電気機関車EP-2、通称バイポーラの解説書で、カラー8頁です。バイポーラの名前の起こりとなった車軸一体の電機子、屋根上パンタグラフや台車回りなどの写真が掲載されていますが、質はイマイチです。見開きに1/64サイドビューのカラーイラスト。別にHOスケールの3面図があります。この屋根上平面図は、Hundman出版のLocomotive Cyclopedia 2には無いので貴重です。4種類のカラースキームもイラスト付で解説されています。カスタムブラス製のOとHOのモデル写真が載っています。
